The showroom · five rooms

Walk through the rooms of a renovator’s website

  1. Room 2

    Licence & insurance

The gap. Careful buyers look for a licence number before they call. When it is missing, or only on a Facebook page, they have a reason to move to the next result.

On your site. Your licence name and number in the footer of every page, and in full on the about page.

  2. Room 3

    How a job runs

The gap. Families want to know how long the kitchen or only bathroom will be out of use. If the site is silent, the question lands late, often after you have already spent time on a quote.

On your site. Measure, design, quote, build and handover, with what the owner does at each step and how long the room is out of use.

  3. Room 4

    Enquiry form

The gap. Not everyone wants to phone a stranger with a first question, and plenty of people read about renovations after hours. Without a form that asks for room, suburb and timing, those buyers enquire somewhere else.

On your site. A short form that asks for room, suburb, timing and photos, so you can decide which jobs are worth a site visit.

  4. Room 5

    Service areas

The gap. Dozens of copied suburb pages look like doorway pages, and buyers can tell when a page was copied. Leaving areas out entirely means people a few suburbs away never learn that you travel to them.

On your site. The regions you travel to, written once and properly, with no copied suburb pages.

All questions

What does the plan cost?

A$249 a month and a one-off setup fee of A$499, with a 12-month minimum term. Prices are shown without GST; GST may apply. There is one plan and one price for every renovation business.

Can I cancel?

Yes. After the 12-month minimum term you can end the plan with written notice before your next billing date. During the minimum term you can still end it, but the monthly fees for the rest of the term remain payable, unless you are ending it because we seriously breached the terms and did not fix it. The plan terms set this out in full.

How long does it take to get my site live?

Your site is live within 14 days of us receiving your content: your business details, licence details, photos, service areas and the words for each page. If something is missing, we tell you what, and the 14 days start once it arrives.

Do I have to write the words for my site?

You supply the content: what you do, how your jobs run, your projects and your prices if you show them. Rough notes, dot points or a voice memo are fine. We lay it out into pages and tidy the wording, but we don’t invent claims about your business.

Who owns my domain and content?

You do. The domain is registered in your business name and you pay the registrar. Your words, photos, logo and prices stay yours. When the plan ends we give you a copy of the content you supplied and help you point the domain wherever you choose.

Will the website get me more jobs?

We can’t promise that, and we don’t. The site is built to explain your work clearly, show finished projects and make it easy to enquire, and we report the enquiries it receives every month. How many jobs come from it depends on your market, your work, your reviews and how you follow up.

Book a call

On the call we look at how you win work now, show you the sample designs and go through the plan terms. If the plan doesn’t suit your business, we will say so.
